New technology in the World Medical

Changi General Hospital (CGH), members of the group, the Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) is one of the world's three hospitals and first in Asia to use the technology Mobile Clinical Assistant (MCA). MCA is a mobile tablet PC with 10 inch screen that is able to save all the history that the patient had stayed in the hospital. Developed by Intel, the MCA is an ideal tool for the advancement of health technology in the world at this time. The doctor or nurse can immediately know the patient's health history, development of health care patients, and other data in mobile laboratories. MCA has a wireless connectivity for connecting to the internet and intranet the hospital. In addition, the MCA also equipped with the technology Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) that makes the user logon, Bluetooth is capable of capturing vital signs of the patient, as well as digital cameras, which can directly capture the injured patient. Battery power and a strong weight MCA, which brought to light easily drag and availability of the stylus pen that is able to recognize handwriting with a very good tool to help the operation. According to some doctors who have been using these tools, they can better interact with patients and clients know more, although there are many patients that they manage. Two other hospitals also have been using the Mobile Clinical Assistant is the El Camino Hospital in Northern California and the Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust in the UK.
